Alliance Driving School Watauga, TX 76148
ALLIANCE DRIVING SCHOOL

COST:

The cost is $499.00 and is payable at the beginning of the course.  A payment plan of $175.00 down and $175.00 will be due at the end of the 3-week classroom phase and the remaining balance of $160.00 is due 60 days/2 months from the 1st day of the classroom start date. The total amount must be paid in full within 60 days of the first day of class or there will be a $40.00 late fee applied.

CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION:

There are 24 hours of classroom instruction taught in 12 days.  The classes are 2 hours each day, Monday-Thursday for three weeks (unless otherwise stated).

A student is eligible to take their written test for a permit after the first 3 days of instruction (6 hours) and the first 2 tuition payments have to be paid in full.  If a student misses one of the first three classes, they must make up the class before they can be issued a permit.

A student is allowed to miss 5 days.  The student must make arrangements with the classroom instructor to make up missed days.  Should the student miss 6 days it will be necessary to terminate the student from class.  This does not mean the student loses their time or money invested.  The student will re-enroll in the next available class and continue the course.  All classroom hours must be made up and finished within 365 days of the original beginning date, (This Is a State Law Not Alliance Driving School).  Failure to do so will result in terminating all credit towards obtaining a driving certificate.
If a student completes the 24 hours of classroom instruction but does not complete the 14 hours of in-car instruction before the contract deadline then the school can grant a variance or execute a new contract only if it is done prior to the completion timeline of the 365 day original contract, for an additional fee of $125.00.
If a student completes less than 24 classroom hours and the year contract timeline ends, the student loses all classroom credit hours and must retake the entire classroom phase, (This is a State Law Not Alliance Driving School)

  BEHIND THE WHEEL AND OBSERVATION:

There are seven hours of driving behind the wheel and seven hours of observation.  This is in addition to the 24 hours of classroom instruction.  The driving lessons cannot be taken during the classroom hour.  Driving lesson may not be completed in less than 30 business days and no more than 365 days from the first classroom date.
(Classroom and Driving must be completed 1 year from the first day of classroom).

The student's tuition is required to be paid in full before scheduling driving lessons and starting the in-car phase of the teen driver's education program.

There will be a $25.00 no show fee for any appointment not kept, unless rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance Monday – Friday (Any student wishing to cancel a Saturday, Sunday or Monday drive time must cancel before 12:00 Noon on Friday).  There are no exceptions to this rule; we must pay the instructor for their scheduled time.  Please try to keep rescheduling to a minimum; it will cause problems for other students if it becomes excessive.

DRIVING:

A student must have their permit before they can schedule a driving lesson.  Be early for your driving appointment!  Your instructor is expected to leave exactly on time.  If they are late it will disrupt the entire driving schedule.  They rarely wait more than 5 minutes (on their watch).  If they leave without you, it is counted as a $25.00 No Show. Please do not text during your observation time, if you do we will have to reschedule another one and there will be a $25.00 rescheduling fee.

If the doors are locked please wait, the instructors are out driving other students their drive time. To schedule more drive time please come in during office hours, the instructors do not have the book to schedule.
When you arrive, check in at the office or with your driving instructor and wait in the lobby or in front of the school.

Listen to your instructor.  If you drive dangerously or refuse to follow instructions the instructor may cancel your lesson.  You will be required to reschedule and pay the no show fee.

OBSERVATION:
